tailgate emblems - to replace, go with retro decals, or leave debadged?

never mind the SR5 on my rear doors are the way you described, and they are cracking and look like shit, but the stuff on the tailgate is all hard plastic.

 

The emblems on my tailgate were the same as the Sr5 door emblem ones. The came off and were the soft plastic.

Then replaced it.

 

yep, its them individual letter ones that are soft enough to flex and crack so those are so rare to get off and reuse without it looking bad.

the "joined" letters are solid emblems and easy to remove and reuse because they don't flex.

I know it's been over 3 years, but I'd like to know too. My chrome emblems look like crap and that vinyl looked good. (At least to me it does)

Thread revival. The badges (door pillar and tailgate) on a 2003 Tacoma PreRunner I recently picked up are in pretty sad shape. I would really like to replace them with decals like in this photo:


@Delta00, who posted this, hasn't been seen on TW for over a year, so I wouldn't know if that person would see this. I would love to know who could provide decals just like these...thanks!
