So now that Ive swayed into 35s on the third gen, what comes to mind is the cab mount relocate bracket. If I completely cut off the cab mount, and have a new mount welded on, would that possibly negate the need to bang the firewall in?

Very doubtful. At a minimum you’re looking at cutting the fenders a couple inches and hammering the pinch weld flat, as well as dealing with the cab mount.

Cab mount has nothing to do with firewall interference. Moving the mount means it won't be a problem but the firewall/pinch weld/etc still could be. Caster and wheel/tire setup will determine that.

Id have to get ucas, and move them all the way forward, cut +2 inches from the fender, and either completely remove the cab mount, or smash the ever loving shit out of it, and then possibly bang the firewall.

Wheels would be scs f5 with 3.5 bs and cooper st pros.

The wheels are the first thing im buying. Right after I buy a winch.

Should I buy the smittybuilt x20 with syn, and a closed winch system (factor 55 flatlink) or should I buy a warn without factor 55 (im cheap)

I'm running the Smittybilt x2o comp and the Smittybilt AWS. I haven't been out since I installed the AWS but haven't had any problems with the winch.

It doesn't stick out all that far. Maybe 4-6".
