Sorry for the noob post but I am a bit confused. Purchased OVTune last week but am sure it came with 1.04r, will OVtune email me files for 1.05 or would I need to request this updated version? Thanks guys!

 

1.05 has been rolling out all day. All tune updates are included with your purchase. Be patient with us (the ones still waiting to get files) and you will get 1.05. It will likely be emailed directly to you.

 

I’m beat to shit from re-installing my sliders today and snapping a grade 8 bolt.

It. was. The. Very. Last. Bolt. In a critical front support spot.

Not fun by yourself.

I was practically napping after I begun the flash process lol

 

I heard you don't need sliders with 1.05

 

Yup, just flies over the rocks! 33's won't rub on stock suspension either!

 

It’s nearly foolproof.
- Truck on
- Select the correct file.
- Write to the ECU.
- Turn the truck off
- Start the truck
- Idle for 10 min
- Drive for a full tank of gas before commenting.

I hear from a very good source that these trucks are now capable of levitation with 1.05...

 

Honestly, I haven't been running the front bolt on my driver side slider because I couldn't get my hand all the way up to the hole through that tiny frame cubby hole and it's been fine. 4 out of 5 bolts on that side and I've had the weight of the truck on both sliders and on them individually and it's been fine.

 

Flashed. Took a 200mile trip. Everything good beside still having the fast upshift/bog at turn that was in 1.03.

 

Only with the 93 tune. That's why I'm looking for 93...

 

I have avg hands. It’s still a bitch

 

Kept getting hit with "completed unsuccessfully" but remembered that my aftermarket headunit uses obd2 communication. Disabled it and flashed successfully!

I even powered off the headunit and it still wouldn't flash until I disabled the communication.

I'm a software architect and I can't even flash a truck :|

 

I got an unsuccessful message for the first time ever halfway through my first flash of the new 1.05 tune. No idea why.

Closed PCM Flash and did it again no prob second time
