I'm not a scientist, and have no idea how the pressure in tires increases or decreases. I just make sure to keep my tires at 35 PSI, and check every Friday.

That’s the key there.. which is why we did it for our Acura. Every time it dropped below 40 we were a few % off. It was more annoying then a real issue.

Very easy. If you check your tires cold and dark (at night hours after sunset) that will be the most accurate pressure you can get. You see, for every 10 degreeF temperature change your tires will change by one psi. So if you check it at 50 degrees and it is 35 psi, at 80 degrees your tires will be 38 psi. Conversely, if the temp drops to 20 degrees then your tire pressure will be 32 psi. If you check them in daylight, two tires will usually be higher because two will be in sun and two in the shade.
Plus, friction driving on the road will raise temps, which means pressure. The absolute pressure rise depends on a lot of factors, like load and curves.
    There ya go!

Every 10 degrees of outside temperature makes your tire pressure go up 1 psi do to thermal expansion.

Ok, so if my tires are at 35 PSI, and its 100 degrees outside, then my tires are at 45 PSI.

What temp did you check your tires to get the 35 psi?

It was an example. What PSI would I have if its 100 degrees out?

Lol I have to know what temperature it was when you checked your tires and set it to 35 psi! Let's say when you set your tires at 35 psi it was 60 degrees. Later on that day it got up to 80 degrees. Your tires will be 37 psi.

Friday morning was around 73 degrees. Tires were at 33, so I bumped it up to 35.

Alright. At 73 degrees your tires were at 35 psi set by you. At 83 degrees your tires will be 36 psi and at 93 degrees your tires will be 37 psi. 1 psi every 10 degrees.
Also if it got down to 43 degrees your tires will be back down to 32 psi.

No problem. Setting tire pressure is just approximate anyway. Usually two tires will be higher because the other two are in the shade, if you are hauling a load your back tire pressure will go up because of friction, etc. Best to set them at night after not driving for a few hours.
