You can have an awful lot of fun ice fishing when you mess around and play some tricks.
A buddy of mine asked me if I had some beer. I said yes, but they’re in my car. He said cool.
I said you can have as many as you like but you need to run and fetch them. Being out of shape he protested a little. I just shrugged.
So he took the 15 minute walk. While he was goneI ran my Swedish Pimple from my jigging rod over to one of his tips, and waited. Sitting on my chair “jigging”.
He got about 75 feet from us and I flicked the tip and set off his trap. He dropped everything and ran like hell! Panting with his hands on his knees and giving me some words.
    Good times.:drunk:

Next time out I got repaid.
Said there’s beer in the truck. I went to get it expecting some tricks when I returned.

You mean freezing out on the open ice, in obviously freezing temps and windchills, while fishing in 32f water?

    Um.... nope.

Im game for some good fishing come spring though.

Wish I could have talked myself out of re-doing the porch today....

Was just going to re-deck it....

Now, its pretty much all new. Proper hardware, hurricane straps, ledger locks, and head locks, blah blah... fed conduit for power, etc.

Couple details after breakfast, and a much earned day to do whatever...

I was status post tonsillectomy and adequately dosed on pain meds.

I don’t remember taking the test. I took and passed the tech. Then, rumor has it... I took the general immediately after but drew a bunch of bees on the test paper and walked out.

So, I can confidently tell you that drawing bees on the test will not pass for your general exam. It might help you pass tech. But, they are sticklers on that general exam.

What headlights are those? They almost look like projectors and the passenger one is rotated. The way I aim headlights is find a wall like you did, drive right up tight to it and put painters tape where the hot spot is of each on the door. Then, back up about 20 feet or so and then adjust the hot spot so it’s a couple inches below the original marks horizontally and in line vertically.

Just woke up . I will post pic of headlights in awhile
Oh if this helps, I blocked the drivers side and that shitty angular beam went away, but the pass side was pretty dim and didn’t have much of a sharp horizontal line.
I should have taken 3 pics., both and of each separate . I will do that tonight or tomorrow night after work. I will do headlights like I said earlier

What the hell is a baby Guinness shot?

Was a healthy blend of whiskey and beer. By all rights I should be dead today. So I'm actually in a pretty good mood.

Finished putting first coat of poly on all the trim so can get it hung up. Tomorrow will be staining the doors and door jams. Pretty easy when you have a wide open space where you can spill and make a mess and it doesn’t matter...and durring the past two days I may or may not have taken full advantage of that:anonymous:
