I was thinking the same thing. How is the one off eBay? Everything seem solid on it?

Seemed about as solid as the OEM plastic one. It came with connectors but they looked cheap so I bought a pack of OEM ones. I haven’t test fit it so I can’t speak to how it lines up...

Found this recommendation. For gear oil weight.

you're welcome to use that, but I actually talked to the good folks at just differentials when they installed my gears and they recommended the Lucas 80w-90, at less than half the price of the Nitro branded stuff.

I used to get mad discounts at Summit Racing. Used to pick up tons of Redline and Lucas oils at half price. Wish I still worked there.

When they come through my window, that’s where they stay.

I’m gonna have a tree grow there between all the dirt, tree pieces and water I get.

Isn't there a picture on the internets of a plant growing out of the windsheild cowl or something? It was kinda funny

Ok so to follow up on this, here’s what I did

So first I removed yellow and green. Sat low but was too soft.

Then I put back in the yellow, and took out the black

Right now I have green and black removed. Sits nice, very flexy, and still soft. I might change it again if it softens out more.

Cut fenders/removed flares, mild lift, and big assed tires makes it look like some sort of artic expedition vehicle. I wonder if you could squeeze some smaller, 37” military spec tires in there. They’d last quite a while...

I used the Lucas 75w-90 in both the front/rear diffs as well as the tranny. Temps tend to stay a lot higher where I’m at than most of the Continental.

Both gear oil but yeah one requires GL4 and the other GL5 rated...I always confuse which is which but I have it written down in my truck.

The trans calls for the 4or5. I blanketed them all with the same gl5 equivalent.
