My 05 2.7 needs the water outlet pipe upgrade. Is this possible without dismantling the intake manifold ?

    Thanks for the welcome!
I’m new to the forums and not up to speed on the lingo. I have a ‘05 standard Tacoma 4cyl 5 speed. I purchased the volume 3 repair manual when the truck was brand new thinking that’s all I’d need. Now I’m 220K miles beyond that and I see it leaking from the rubber to metal housing next to the thermostat housing. What’s the best way to replace it? Remove the intake manifold or not? I’m just wondering what works best.
