    I tried the sienna switch BUT it does not go into the switch panel like other oem switches... My solution was to get a left vent switch from a land cruiser and combine the two... Looks great and works 100%

    With the current setup, I only cut about half an inch of the motor regulator cable on the right (drivers side) with good cutters. I did a quick snap and it doesnt fray the cable. The cable on this side is long enough if you place the motor inside the cross member of the back cab. I looked on Ben wa's posts page 61 of 89 post #1216 for the exact location to cut the hole in the cross member for the motor. Then I cut 5 inches of the caddy alluminum track (where to 2 cables join each other). I also used a grinder to take off the 2 ridges on the back side of the track so that it would sit closer the the back cab wall on top of the cross member. I had a machine shop make some threads inside the right side of the alluminum track so that I could screw in a bicycle thightner to receive the motor regulator housing. Then I cut off ( using a dremill) the top metal part of the round plastic that slides inside the track(the metal piece with the 2 holes). I also cut the longer side of the round black plastic tubing ( where the 2 cables connect) so that they were equal lenght on each side. i used some gorilla epoxy glue to glue the left side cable into the black plastic tubing. I threaded that cable inside the housing, then through the back wall and into the bracket that secures the cable to the window chanel on the passenger side. Then I secured that cable into the window bracket and thighten the allen key screw very firmly. Then I secured the right side cable (driver) into the window braket the I slid that cable bracket so that the cable would be tensionned enough. PLEASE look closely at Ben wa's videos for the install of the cables into the bracket and so on....post # 1283.

    Good luck with this install

    :spy:

    Found some free time this weekend with the holidays and thought I'd finally get around to moving forward with this mod. It's been over a year since I collected the parts and wouldn't you know it........

    I misplaced the bracket!!! :annoyed::frusty::goingcrazy:

    Can't find it anywhere. I put it in the window channel for this reason, that way it would be there when I got around to it. Currently tearing my garage and truck apart. It's here somewhere.:facepalm:

    Found it. I guess when I took the back panels out when I first was trying to make a plan how how I wanted to do this project, I also removed the bracket and put it inside the storage tray of one of the panels.

    I still need to pickup a switch. trying to decide which one I want to use and where to put it as all my blanks are full. Im also wanting to do one touch open/close feature so that will probably sway my decision on the switch I use.

    Glad you found it. Cant help ya out with the switch I used a rocker switch its not automatic but it works great. It doesnt take too long to slide open/close. Maybe 3 -4 seconds so its not a big deal to press then release the switch

    I decided to sell my truck before ever doing the mod. I bought a factory switch from a 2017 if you're interested.
