For me, I'm hoping for better throttle response for rev matching my downshifts.

 

Anyone with a dongle-less M/T on the new 1.05 yet?

 

Drove the new 1.05 for the last couple of days. It drives good overall, I'm getting 19mpg average on 33’s.

I’m getting idle fluctuation when I’m in park though, it revs back and forth between ~550 and ~750 constantly. Is that something that needs logged and submitted, or is a video good enough? I did see him mention that it wouldn’t be addressed on here for sure. Anyone else getting it?

 

Did you update to the most recent one?

 

For all you guys still awaiting your files, do yourself a favor and just go do something else for a few hours. This was me yesterday, while I waited for my files.



Life's to short to waste pressing F5. If anything you could tell yourself you are out doing some final testing of the old tune.

The 3-4 dance being reported still concerns me.

Hopefully a 4.88 specific tune or custom tuning in general can get rid of that.

 

We just need to hold out for little longer. He will get to us.....hopefully

 

I'm not seeing it. I must be one of the snowflake trucks, or just know how to drive this machine to the environment ahead.

 

He's been doing it for about 10+ hours a day on his days off. Couldn't ask for more from anyone I think so I wait patiently.

 

Yes, I noticed this after pulling back into the garage after my first (and only, so far) run on the tune. I could definitely live with it if I had to though - very minor thing. And I'm 04B04 dongle-less.

To clarify for others, this seems to be a similar symptom to the pre-release 1.05, but in Park, not Drive with your foot on the brake like people reported for that version.

Edit: Based on my testing, I'm anticipating I'll need some custom fine-tuning of a couple other shift points and such, due to my 255/75/17s with stock gears and lots of extra weight. Though I'll wait a couple weeks until things settle before deciding. I figured I'd probably mention the idle at that point if I continue seeing it.

 

just cause YOU don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. OV already said Commbubba has a truck that acts very differently than most and my truck is somewhat the same, I just don't post it all over the forum like Mat asked us not to. I'm also hoping that a 4.88 specific tune makes my truck more like your snowflake so I can think I'm a great driver too

 

Wasn’t there a tune w/ a tablet or something that didn’t require a windows computer for sale on OV website? Can’t seem to find it on the website.

 

There were issues with his supplier... causing delays. It'll be out in the new year.

 

Yah it was park only and in all circumstances with the exception of the ac compressor on.

 

Yeah, there's just allot of drama queens on here. But I am an exceptional driver!
