This ranger is the international ranger jusy brought back to the american market. The 2019 ford ranger has been in mexico from 2014 i think. Just the 2.3 ecoboom engine is questionable. I hate it but love it. Fords 2.3 ecoboost in the ranger almost has the same numbers as the duramax 2.8 in colorado and canyon and almost same fuel mileage. Pretty impressive but a 4 banger still

    Thats not reliability, just crashability.

    Just don’t crash.

Plus now a days on the road, unless your in a 18 wheeler. No vehicle is “safe”

Time will tell us, the platform is bulletproof, just the engine that needs to prove itself. Toyota still produces 4 banger too, but look how weak it is compare to chevy and ford offerings. Taco V6 get's same MPG as I4 now, I am not sure why they even keep it around.

    I wouldn't say better lol.

But we've never had the same as the market over there or anywhere else from Ford.
Just look at the focus. It's European version was a huge seller and reliable. The one here? A pile of shit

I disagree with Taylor in the gm Ford aspect as gm is the last thing I'd ever buy.
But I still don't think we'll have that great of a ranger here.
And the Eco boost has issues and I see it continuing to have issues.

Besides when turbos fail which they eventual do it's $$$$.
Seriously outside my first car all my cars were always boosted. It's fun yes but they always fail and when they do its no longer drivable and cost lots to fix

Lol, I will just wait, I remember how much you regretted not getting MT after test driving mine. :boink: Can be the same thing ;)

There are plenty cool options coming in 2019 in midsize class. Jeep, Ford, Chevy are going to make Toyota speedup refresh cycle. Mercedes/Nissan and RAM will be stepping into this game soon too.

Dood, you red communist praetorian pig dog, I love you like brother...but you make it sound like this is new thing. They have all taken a run at yota before. Will they succeed this time *shrugs* but this is the third attempt to be certain.

On the @Joe23 MT argument....I believe that to be accurate!

Haha, third time could be a charm ;)

I am looking forward to new Gladiator, solid front axle, stick shift, diesel, 35s fit easy without needing to cut half of the truck and I can take doors off?!?!:spending:
The new Defender also intrigues me :anonymous:

Once we get the final list I will Pm everyone to set up and give details. Essentially we will all be paying $25 and also splitting the $100 membership between all of us. I will most likely get everyone to send an e-transfer/paypal/cash at wing night. I essentially only want to accept money when I have registered.
