Unfortunately not for the bsm due to liability but should be able to do a parking sensor compatible version

    Looking at 13x13x52" 60lbs and 7x7x65" 44lbs.

    @Dissent86

Ben, I remember there was something in the works previously to carry bikes, how is that coming along?

AND, how does the bed rack attach? The tracks? If so, how much does it use?

And can the headache rack be slid back, and used say at the rear?

And are you still running a long lead(busy is good!)?

    Thanks

Yes, 1up bike rack trays are available.
    I'll update the first post.

The bed rack does attach to the factory rail, uses about 4" in 4 locations.

Yes, headache rack can be slid back for hauling long items.

Unfortunately yes, looking at 8-10 weeks on racks. I get them built in batches so the lead time is highly dependent on time of order. If I have them in stock at the time of the order it's typically 1-2 weeks.

    Thanks!

Those welds are sexy! Quality over quantity seems accurate.

    Ben,

What's the length of the top bars on a short bed bed rack? What about distance between load bars?

It's just that it looks really strong, fully welded. Are you saying the frame fixation bolts are special and designed to shear in a collision?

I am not sure what to think. I had a very low speed forward collision in a parking lot which cost $10k to fix because of a ridiculous amount of expensive plastic dealer parts. So I want a bull bar for that scenario because all I would have had to do is hit it with a can of black spray paint.

But I don't want to pop air bags in a slightly higher speed collision, because that will generally total the truck and I think I would have a fight with the insurance company because they will say the bags should not have popped. And in an even higher speed collision, if the crumple zone doesn't work right the deceleration pulse will be super high on the passengers.

Great looking stuff Ben! I've been running the full bed and cab racks since June and absolutely love them. Glad to see those rear bumper wings in production; they look like a solid option for someone like me that doesn't feel the need or want the added weight of a full bumper. I got a little worried when I saw you posting your truck for possible sale, was afraid you were going to get out of the Tacoma business.

Any more pics of the rear bumper wings? I’m definitely interested in these. I would need the parking sensors.

Edit. Just saw the Instagram pics. Nice work. May be placing an order soon.

I have to jump in and say how much I love Dissent’s cab and bed racks: a TON! I picked up one of Ben’s bed racks almost a couple years ago  now, and a while later I picked up the cab rack, and I’m really happy I went with his design. He’s a super nice guy too. Bought my rack when he’d just launched them and he had one rushed for me so I could get my rtt mounted in time for a big trip.
