I went with 80w-90. They only had cheap stuff, so I’ll change it again after I get home. Have another 500+ miles on this trip

Has anyone adjusted their headlights after a lift? I thought my lift was mild enough not to have to but I was following my parents the other day and they said it was annoying. Kinda feel bad that I never did that lol

 

I haven't adjusted mine but dont feel the need to cars are low lol. Just bought a dodge ram to sell and make a quick buck from it was in a accident so needed a break and light inspection and has a 3in lift on it I told the guy that and that I needed to possibly lower the headlights to pass he told me if needed he would do it for 20 bucks. When he was done he said if they were right on

 

Nope... Ain'nobody got time fo'dat.

 

Measure the height from the ground to the center of your headlight housing. Put a piece of tape on a wall (or your garage doors) at the same height and aim your headlight so the cutoff matches the piece of tape. The truck should be 20-25' feet from the wall/surface with the tape on it. This will get you in the ballpark.

 

Made some homebrew fender flare extenders out of rubber garage door seal. Only installed on the rear so far, going to test them out tomorrow to see if they help keep the mud splash down. Not sure if I need them more in front or rear but started with the rear.

 

Weirdest thing just happened. I was pulling out from a curb, and the truck just died on me. Turned it back on and it never stalled again. Very strange.

 

Not much to go on just yet then, hopefully it doesnt do it again

 

Need to learn how to use that clutch better when you are in drive.
