I love the 80s interior, the 100 is kinda Tundra ugly (weird round features everywhere that looks like they're floating) but yeah they are much newer interior styling wise. Much less utilitarian and family wagon oriented. It was just a tad too new for me when I was shopping LCs out. Could have bought two or three of them though for the same price, so like I said now is the time to get a nice example. I have a feeling since they're the most produced USDM LC they'll take longer to appreciate in value but like all LCs they will and you want yours to be nice when it happens.

Those are pretty damn bright, none of the usual dead spots either. Did you use a manual switch or a pin switch so they come on when the hood opens?

The 06 and newer seem to have a nicer interior, but I'm not sure what features they offer. I think ATRAC was a thing but maybe lockers went away

No USDM 100 got lockers, though some 100 got a LSD in the rear. 470 had nothing
06-07 came standerd with ATRAC before that I think it was a option, lx470 has a different thing. Both have their pros and cons.

I used a manual switch. I just mounted it on my Aux. Fuse panel in the drive corner. Thought about a pin switch but didn't want to have to hassle with adjusting it right lol.

Did you read their buyers guide, I think some did have locker, for sure they have the center locker at least

From what i read so far only high optioned ones got a LSD.

Nvm just went on slee, 98-99 had a optional rear e locker. Then they stopped doing that when they introduced the atrac

I don't believe any of them came with factory front lockers, but I'm sure plenty have put ARBs in over the years

Yeah, Cristo is a good guy but there's a lot more information on Mud, even though they're some snooty bitches sometimes (maybe less so in the newer sections like the 100 series tho)

Mud helps those who help themselves, it's like Pirate 4x4 don't ask dumb questions and use the search bar and you'll be fine.
