    I wouldn't pay that.

If you don't mind driving a bit, look around Atlanta. I was finding better deals down there than around here by sometimes 3 grand or more. My truck came out of Stone Mountain and was about 3 grand cheaper than similar trucks around here. A local dealer would probably ship a truck for you for a minor fee, too.

If they are rear facing car seats, you're not going to have a lot of room. There is absolutely no way I could run a rear facing car seat behind me, and the passenger side leaves very little leg room if someone wants to ride up front.

    Front facing should be fine.

I have been on Autotrader with a 300 mile search radius but I think when I get serious I'll have to look at other sites like craigslist in the surrounding states. Hell I'd go to Orlando if I had to! I have friends to visit anyway. :)

Are you tall though? I am only 5'7" and my wife is 5'3". I know DC trucks are tighter than, say, a Camry, but I figure they are comparable to maybe a Corolla as far as space. Rear facing is only temporary anyway because once they're kicking the seat they need to be turned around. Possibly up to two years.

Also, I think that me transporting them would be less common than my wife, but that all depends on where they are taken for care and our work schedules. We have yet to sort all those details out. But there is a possibility that me transporting them would be an occasional couple days a week affair and any other time we would take my wife's subi. Which we already know will fit the seats just fine.

We already have a few days/week covered by her sister and mom. And my wife runs a spa so she sets her own schedule and could work Saturdays and have days off on Su/Tu if she needed to. The less I need to pay someone else to watch them the better, since I don't want a large portion of our income going to child care if I can help it.

Of course all plans go to shite in a heartbeat so well see. I like to be prepared and think things through so we at least have backups to backup plans.

I'm 6ft and there is no way I would have enough room to fit a rear facing car seat behind me.

We have a Nuna Rava, which gives more room than most car seats, but still leaves very little room. My fiancee is 5'2" and barely has enough room on the passenger side. She normally ends up riding in the back since it has more room.

I'm 6' as well. However, I like to sit upright more than most. Idk, guess you'll have to find one and put a child seat back there.

Getting the Heep packed and heading for Ohio to visit mom and Gram. Then 5 hrs east to Indiana to visit my dad as he's still prepping the old house for sale.

Then 3 hrs south to Bloomington to visit friends before heading back south.

Most trips I pray there isn't any snow whether I'm in the Challenger or the prerunner.
Now I'm hoping I run into a shit ton.

If Toyota had a model with f/r locking Dana 44's and could fit 35's with no lift....id been all over it. But.......:notsure:.

It really is pretty nice inside and it also helps to know the GM. With my Challenger trade in.....$43k out the door.
The dash layout and steering wheel controls are almost identicle to my Challenger so no learning curve.

My daughter was born in 2006 too so I had to tote around her in my 2006 DBSB. I'm only 5' 6" tall and had no problem
with baby seats. I actually think baby seats being snug in the back of a Tacoma are pretty safe than having too much room.
Too much room can create too much space to be thrown around. :burnrubber:
