Oooooh. A 270. Nice. Let us know how it fits into your life functionality wise. The standard SE can be bothersome to close at times on the front leaf and the clearance to put things inside with the cab right beside means putting in smaller items anyways. Nice seeing a variant out there.

No doubt. Regardless of how they order, they'd 100% not get my future business with that kind of policy.

I’ve always enjoyed seeing all the decals people come up with on here. Never thought to get one myself until I saw this one. If I ever do get one, it would be this one. I like that a lot. Well done!

Thanks  Will do. I’ve been contemplating going between the HD or SE for the longest time. I was close to going with the HD with the simple fact that they are the same exact setup and with that said, I’d hate myself if I got the SE and then for some reason really needed that extra load capacity. However, then this baby came in my sight for the first time. I ended up snagging this on Craigslist from a new owner that is unfortunately, but fortunately, trading in his Tacoma and I couldn’t pass up the deal. Although I really like the load capacity the HD allows, I got to thinking, how often will I really be needing a load capacity of 1600lbs on the top of my Bed Cover. The 270 seemed like the most functional option with having the front two panels that open up on the side rather than the great big panel. Also, the load capacity is the same as the SE so I’m not losing anything there. Plus, like you stated, it’s different. Most people go with the SE. There’s not a lot of 270s out there so I will definitely give some feedback as time goes on.

Thanks buddy!!! @CBoy808 does great work!!! Very happy with mine and he can customize it however you like. He changed several things for me to get it exactly how I wanted it. Be prepared to spend some time removing the old ones. It’s a pain in the butt but worth it IMO.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I have one more in-warranty maintenance visit remaining. That will probably be the last time they see me.

I have the Astro Pneumatic drill adapter rivet tool. It works great. I used it to install my redline struts as well as many other things. I also have the drill adapter rivet nut tool that also gets lots of use, you just have to know when to stop with that one so you don't pull the rivet nut out after it is secured.

Northwestern New Mexico. Drove to work that morning, and it hit -14°. We have a big storm rolling in at the moment. Hopefully I'll have some snow pictures to share.

Did the mock up too the Group 27F deep cycle mod. Crown 27 DC 115 AH with a weight of 57lbs. The positive cable will need to be extended 8" and the factory the down bracket still works. Plan on a new metal battery tray, the stock one is embarrassing.

Why Crown? We use them at work and have had nothing but great luck. Warranty is 1 year free replacement and 2 year prorated

Do you remove 4 bolts and the seats are loose?

Yeah, it was easy peasy lemon squeezey...Just four bolts on each seat, lean them back, un-plug two plugs and they are out.

IMG_1124.jpg It's the TRD from the FJ cruiser I think. I bought it at my local Toyota dealer when I first got the truck because I hated the uhh...phallic looking stock one. Took the collar off and put a new zip tie lower on the stick so it didn't rattle.

This weekend consisted of Full interior LED lighting exchange, headlights, reverse lights & plate lights, rear windows 2-1/2% tint, front windows 35%, windshield strip 35%, 1.25" wheel spacers (before and after photo for comparison), Removed the chin air dam, along with Magnaflow Stainless Muffler (had Flowmaster 40 on my 2017 Tacoma, hated it passionately, very tinny sounding after 3k rpm, this Magnaflow sounds amazing through the whole Rev range). Slowly getting to where I want it. :D Tires and 2" leveling coming soon, along with OVTune (maybe, still weighting gains)
