Jack up the side that wobbles and grab the tire and wiggle it side to side and grab the top and bottom and wiggle it to see if you have a bad bearing

It pretty much as to be brakes, tire, wheel or bearing. I can't think of anything else it could be.

Did you have the tires road force balanced? They can miss a warped tire or wheel if not.

I have not, but it happens with 2 different sets of tires and wheels, and I've put all 4 tires in that current position on the 4runner, and it still happens. There's a chance it is the bearing, and that it just doesn't show signs when I lift it and wobble.

If you have put that many different tires and wheels on it I would look at the rotor, brake pads or bearing.

Same number of bends. But it will be easier to make since the final bend ends perpendicular to the square tube.

My plan is to replace everything under the fender well as I can. I'm trying to wait till I get number back from contractors for the house right now, but finding this leak on the tie rod boot I need to figure it out like now.

That is either oil or power steering fluid. Someone mentioned sliding the boot off to see if it has fluid in it. If it is leaking, power steering fluid will be in the boot unless the boot has a hole in it.

I would, but there's just such a small chance that 8 different wheels and tires are all bad. Especially ones that weren't bad before. I've been rotating and cycling them all to see and it's always the same thing in the front end.

The boot will have a metal clamp holding it on, I use zip ties when I reinstalled mine.

I'm somewhat hoping that maybe it's from an old oil leak, because I've seen signs of that before on the engine. I watch the oil like a hawk though and it doesn't leak/burn any.

Mine seem to take the most abuse just right behind the wheel in that same area. Love my TL problems.

    Only the best.
Lol, Joe puts an incredible amount of thought into his designs. And if he dont like it, he will scrap the whole design and do it again.

I am beginning to think nothing is wrong with the steering wrack and that is all from some old oil leak. Like I said I've watched the oil like a hawk since I got the 4runner and never lost any. All the grease/oil in these photos looks fairly dried aside from a couple of spots. I just sprayed purple power on all of it and rinsed it now trying to wipe as much as possible away. Want to see if anymore shows up. Still not sure what causes the wobble in the front driver side.

Well I tore the driver side down, again...checked the wheel bearing first with the tire on..no movement. Tore it down to the bearing...dont have a bearing puller so stuck there but checked everything out. Rotors, pads, spun and listened to the bearing and CV and everything. Nothing unusual. Guess I might just live with it till something breaks or until I replace it all. Rotor does have grooves worn into it, but that's it. Seems straight to me, no warping. Just rusty af.
