Was planning on going out this morning for the last hurrah , but 50* and zero visibility fog changed that.
Archery here on public land ends Monday,so I'm done...unless I go after work on Monday for a quickie.

Done already...seems like yesterday I was putting my ladder up.:(

Im not really too butthurt about it, at least someone got him. If I had a huge piece of land and someone poached it off my property I'd prob be more than a little pissed but thats hunting, like it or not ;) I havent caught anyone poaching on my property, I have seen tracks of them going through and caught people on my game camera a few times but nothing really on my property except for trees and 2 deer stands ;)

How many can you guys kill in your county? I know when I lived there, certain counties had different quota's.

He’s a good young deer. In a couple years he’ll be a good buck. Do you plant anything/have any protein feeders/salt licks by the house? That could really help the deer grow.

I own 4 acres and aside from what the house is on, it’s all woods/thick canopy. I tried to grow a very small plot a few years ago and there’s just not enough sun light. I’ll throw out salt/mineral licks and corn all year but that’s about as good as I can do.

I’ve gotten terrible pics of this guy a couple times this year, but he never let me get a good pic until this week

It’s typically a little early here...however we are seeing a few shed bucks here in west central Illinois,so if we kill one now you got be real careful.

This is my first post on this forum so forgive me if I made any mistakes with these pictures or something but here is this years hunting season for me (August-December). Still may get a Moose and have an upcoming Yellowstone buffalo hunt this spring. This was my first year hunting in Idaho and being able to hunt statewide helped a lot. My bull elk hunt was solo so I wasn’t able to get the best pictures which sucked with it being my first ever bull. Good year overall I’d say, more then satisfied with it.
And oh yea, thanks to my Taco for taking me from the Montana/Idaho border all the way to the Utah/Idaho border hunting these magnificent animals 7BD7DCFA-0D3D-4B17-934B-BF3CEFBFE480.jpg 8C7FB874-4960-48A1-B6C9-ED0399768915.jpg AFAF6A59-64D6-43BF-AA49-B7F0ABD7ABC5.jpg
