    It bolts right up? Any mods to make the RCI tranny skid fit onto the TRD IFS?

    RCI provides spacers so they can work together. The holes in the trans skid are actually slots and it slides above the TRD skid plate and is clamped when you tighten the TRD skid.

    No problem. There’s a YouTube video that shows the install process which helped when I did mine. I’ll try to find it.

    Hard top camper...many more to add+
    As a rule of thumb..as told to me...steel plates are stronger, slides over rocks better than aluminum...and can take more punishment..., aluminum is lighter weight, aluminum will grab/gouge more than steel..

    If you do lots of rock crawling..Steel is highly recommended..vs aluminum..

    I have a long bed ...just purchase a skid plate for trans and transfer case...steel...my choice..not rock crawling..for going to fishing spots,on lava road trails.. most of the trails are well travel and easy to maneuver...but many times ,you will run into a “hard spot” ..
