Nice! Hard to believe you got that all from a dealer. What a find! A lift, wheels and tires and you’ve got all the big stuff out of the way. Looks like a DCLB version of mine. I wish I had done the DCLB sometimes. My next one will probably be that configuration.

We got it used '16 DCLB, ARE shell, couldn't believe I found this at a dealership with only 23K miles on it. Pretty stoked that the side windows lift up, easy access to my tools!IMG_1809.jpg

Yep, not a damn difference in handling but alignment numbers are so much better and plenty of room for moar rubber.

The company I work for is a ARE distributor so I got a deal when I got mine in ‘16. My favorite thing about my ARE is that I have swapped my windows for windoors since that picture. Wasn’t cheep but I loved having that option.

Thanks. Can you buy them color matched or do they have to be painted?

Just took my 2018 QS TRD OR off-roading for the first time the other day. I must say, I am going to enjoy this truck for a while before making any modifications.

They did an AWESOME job with this truck. I was not expecting what I got. I had a friend in the vehicle, he owns a 2018 TRD Sport, and he was blown away at the performance difference. We both hit the same trails with COMPLETELY different results.

Not really sure if I even need any modifications at this point.

I’m glad you’re enjoying your Tacoma! I previously had a ‘17 Sport, now I have a ‘18 Off Road. The Off Road is softer over imperfections than the Sport, something I took for granted even though I read many reviews that referenced this distinction. I do not miss the non-functional hood scoop on the Sport whatsoever. It obstructed my view and water always ended up in the scoop after washing/drying the truck.

Couldn’t help but notice Toyota's marketing of the ‘18-‘19 Off Road/Sport grille on a Quicksand Tacoma in the ad below as “stand out” and “bold.” I’ve been trying to force myself to like this grill every since I purchased my Tacoma, but I’m failing miserably. The shininess makes me want to cringe!

love the cap. is that a matte black vinyl decal, or is it painted that way?
