The NRA range sucks ass, can't wait to buy some land.

"Uhhhh, we just banned that kind of ammo and we're increasing our prices."

    Mmmkay.

I should also add, I'm a terrible shot with 40 cal lol. So used to a Glock 9mm.

Kind of in between all of that.........no jumping and crazy stuff anymore but still decent components and handling. Good hydraulic disc brakes, good frame and shocks, decent crank set and tires. something like this https://www.framedbikes.com/collect...s/framed-bobtrax-alloy-sram-x5-27-5-bike-mens or a little better.

Preferably new but a nice used one for the right price would be fine.

You could also come in briery branch road and go down union springs or switzer lake or vice versa as well. Briery branch is easy until you hit the trail head and then fun when wet but not hard. Stock trucks can make it up and down all routes.

Much thanks to @TaKoToy, @the.sight.picture, and @ready6delta for their insight and advice on Flagpole. We will probably end up regretting it thanks to the wind, but @plamore and I are going to give Flagpole a go tomorrow morning. We are going to shoot for Harrisonburg sometime around 1000ish and go from there. If anyone wants to join, let me know!

Edit: we are meeting at 0900 at the McDonalds on exit 28, Rte 66 and heading down from there.

I'm sure we will, and thanks. How is Briery Branch compared to Switzer Lake road?

Briery branch is hard ball until the trail head where it splits to go up redish knob, to flagpole or continue on the FS 25 i believe. Easier to flagpole but fun once you go past to meadow knob. Switzer is FSR from the lake up to flagpole but fun when rained out and wet.

Thanks! Being that we are new to the trail and it is going to be windy and still wet, we were planning on going in and out on Switzer...just want to break our cherry tomorrow so to speak.

Thats a good plan. Going down from flagpole to meadow was pretty washed out last few times i went and a lot more fun then my first few times. Lots to explore but always room to go back and venture further. I havent done the switzer lake route yet and still want too. With 2 trucks you guys should make good time, wish i could tag along.

I think it might be a mix here. Some are definitely fireworks. Others I can't tell.

Happy New Year to you too.

One the plus side, I spent the last 4 hours or so looking up and ordering parts to finally build my PDM. It's not everything that I need, but it should be most of what I need to put together the PDM itself. I'll still need more wire, busbars, connectors, etc.

Excuse me for my ignorance (Jeeper here) and new to the Taco. What's the PDM? Thinking a power dist. module.
Happy NY to you as well.
