I'm getting a SnugTop. A recent purchaser from this dealer had about a 4 week wait.

Got the front windows tinted today. Went with SunTek CXP 45. Thought about the CXP 35 but didn’t want to push the limits on the 35% N.C. law. I’m happy with the outcome. DD0CA635-A000-4519-A610-A0AFA72CDCF6.jpg

Pretty much done with mods so thought I would do my 1st at-home oil change. Been a year since last one even though only 4k miles on oil. Figured a good thing to do since it is raining and I just changed oil in the mower and daughters car. Went with the long nipple fumoto F103N and an aluminum filter housing. A bonus was dropping the Pro skid. What a royal pain but should be a breeze from now on.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Thanks for all the spiffy photos. I'll be doing the same for my next oil change (in 5K miles). Already have the aluminum filter housing, just need to get the valve.

Oh don't thank me. Thank the North Korean, Iranian or Syrian Toyota engineers for their attempts to break the American spirit. Oil filter changes should not be such a pain. I used to service Virginia Power large bucket and service trucks around 38 years ago. They were the big 2+ ton trucks with 1.5 or 2 quart canister filters. They sucked and I thought they were the worst I ever worked on. I think Toyota has them beat. Props to those spending $200 for adapters to convert to regular spin on filters. I may just follow in their footsteps next time.

Looks exactly like the one I could not get programmed on wifes Escape last week. No matter what I did every time I connected the harnesses into the module the yellow light would come on. It acted like the ignition was on and the key was not in the ignition. 12voltsolutions said it must have been a bad connection in the pre-wired harness. They are sending a replacement with a $$ credit for my trouble. Installation was very simple and took less than 15 minutes. Anxious to get the replacement. May put the same one in my Taco.

I don't know the exact differences between the two sellers but I think its the wiring harness that comes with it. The fortin module is a universal kit. N2 designs is super helpful and always on this forum. he offeres a tacoworld discount too if you PM him.

The one I got was vehicle specific. It was an odd issue. Seemed pretty straightforward. I would have gone with N2 had they made one for the Ford. Was aggravating. Plugged in the sync harness and blue and red lit up correctly but plugging in the 20 pin harness turned the yellow on every time. N2 seems to be the way to go with the Taco.

Kilmat on back wall and front doors. On the back wall I used Dynapad on top of it. On the doors I used 1lb sq foot MLV layered in Dynaliner foam. Then I added some strips of the Kilmat to the under hood bracing.

So much quieter. And the stereo sounds that much better.

Edit - Back doors next day it doesn't rain (and isn't New Years day)...

It’s a spartanxcustoms Kit....comes complete with everything you need to instal it...including drill bits and the ch4x4 hood scoop switch...his wiring is the best I’ve ever seen and it’s a easy diy kit. Mine also has a white drl mode as well. You can even get it with multi
Colored drl like white and amber...also you can get the bar in stealth so you can’t even see it behind the scoop. If you have Instagram look him up on there...spartanx customs...that’s where he does business from...he is the man and stands behind his impeccable work. Hope this helps

Bartact covers, Hondo knobs, OEM bed cover, Subie Tweeters, interior chrome delete, a/c hose extension/relocate, blacked lower bumper, OEM bed extender and mat, Stealth running boards, debadged
    -repainted chrome interior (round 2)
    -painted lower front bumper
    -debadged!
    -received Meso change holder!
    -ordered bed mat
-ordered wheel wrap and scoop wrap

So round 2 here on de-chroming the interior. Noticed a small chip on one of the a/c rings that I had previously painted matte black. The previous paint was a krylon matte black latex based. I was wanting to re-do them anyway as I was not thrilled with the glassy finish that the poly clear added and this time do it with an automotive specific enamel.
I decided yesterday that I was going to also remove the lower bumper and paint that matte black.

Pulled off the bumper, rough sanded with 220, hit it with two coats of etching primer after some degreaser and a bath.
A little tricky to pull off that piece. I removed the whole grille for easier access. I broke one tab that I will epoxy back on and reinforce before reassembly.
Did 4-5 light coats with progressively heavier wetter coats.

Used the same enamel for both the lower bumper as the chrome trim pieces as I was going for the flat look on both.

Everything will cure overnight (being more patient this time around) and I just finished grilling dinner for the family and poured a glass of whiskey.
    Will post reassembly pics tomorrow.
    Happy New Year TW.

Swapped out my fob with an AJT Design case. Really impressed & happy with it! Spare key release button needs some breaking in, but I’m ok with it being sticky, less likely to accidentally release the key.
