I haven't quite gotten to the recent videos, so that's why I haven't noticed anything like this yet.

Judging by the rate of member bannings in the last 6 months, I give TW 18 months.

Lately, I've just been reading to learn stuff, or purely for entertainment. Luckily I'm a pretty frugal person so I've been sticking to just small mods that cost a few bucks, besides my lift and tires that I did a while back.

    1. You're one of the few people that actually gives this kind of advice, and I completely agree with you. Everyone usually says to get a job with something you love, but I don't see the point if it's going to make me struggle financially I'm the long run and get tired of it eventually. I would much rather put in the work to have enough money to do things in life that actually mean something.

    2. I'm at college right now majoring in Biology (was chemistry but I switched to fit the dentistry classwork better) with a minor in Pre-Dentistry. The main reason I went this route was for the money and the fact that I can be my own boss. I'll also be able to take over my dad's dental practice when I get out (he'll be at retiring age) so it lines up nicely for me, assuming everything goes as planned.

    3. I definitely plan on moving out quickly. I think my parents were living on their out once they go to Dental/Pharmacy school, so I'll probably do the same in a couple of years. My brother (21) is actually getting ready to move into a small apartment that my granddad owns, but he'll be held accountable for all the fees like rent, electricity, etc.

It's pretty awesome how much people are willing to help a younger person out on this forum. I think I've heard more useful things here than I ever did in high school.

I’ve been a member of Clublexus since 2002? It’s still going strong, why, because they still make Lexus vehicles.

Unless they stop making Tacoma’s I doubt this site will die. I also doubt they will stop making Tacoma’s, not in this lifetime anyways.

Idk much about that site. I do know their interface sucks especially for mobile viewing. There are a lot of forums out there with the same interest. Some are better than others. Maybe it didn’t include the word “World” :) Maybe their community wasn’t as diverse as this forum.

I'm sure TW will get larger as time progresses. More kids being taught to use the internet, more gens to bring in new Toyota fans... in retrospect, very few sites die compared to those that carry on and expand. I'm in the same spot as you are, 20, freshman in college after I became disabled due to a surgery gone wrong so I'm not exactly swimming in funds at the moment; especially since I don't want disability. Because of TW we've actually found a lot of deals on used products for our Tacoma if we are patient enough. It's really hard to keep from wanting to blow all of our cash on parts, especially seeing what some people have done with their rigs; some people are pretty intense. But the inspiration stands, and the information passed between people will keep patrons here for years to come, guaranteed.

It may not be exactly the same as it is today but it'll still be around for sure......probably a lot better at the rate technology is moving forward.
