I have the stock file from 1.04 email. Just the new tunes. If you never got a stock file, I would just email him when's he open next week.

I've been updating my windows tablet for the past 4 hours in anticipation of getting my files. Damn I hate Microsoft....lol

I disabled windows update and only use the computer flashing. Otherwise every time I use it, it wants to update

Files are coming hot and fast. Maybe there is hope still for MT files today.

 

Need some help. I've already submitted a ticket to @OVTune but knowing that he is closed until the 3rd of Jan and will be working the tickets as they are submitted, I figured I should pick on the wealth of knowledge in this forum as some of you might have had this problem before.

Tried running p5flash.exe to load 1.05. Followed all instructions and ensured that all AV programs are disabled. However, all options on p5flash.exe are grayed out (see picture).



Any ideas?

One thing I did notice is that the system ID that I am pulling is different from the filename of the registry file that OV sent me when I registered initially. Using the same laptop as I've used before and it has worked a couple of time loading and re-loading 1.04R. I'd appreciate any help fellas, TIA!

 

One tank of gas done. My initial impression is, it’s nice to just be able to drive the truck. Don’t have to worry about S mode. Start it and drive it. Still not a power house below 3k, but it is a car engine shoved into a truck. Leaps and bounds, 1000% better than stock. I hope learning is truly gone because I finally enjoy driving this thing.

 

Is everything plunged into the truck with power on? Not trying to be a smart ass either.

 

1.05 first drive.
Initial start up idles smooth as silk. No vibrations like it had stock. Shifts seem to be smooth as shit. Holds gears awesome. Climbs hills at 2,300 rpm no problem. Normally would be over 3,000 there. So far 5th gear pull seems freaking amazing. U control the trans with your foot, instead of the trans controlling you. Didn't jump to fourth when down shifted. It feels to me like your driving a tacoma with a small v8. U can actually accelerate in sixth without it down shifting. Gas mileage on the trip I just took is usually 16.3. This time 21.5. If its stays running like this I will never get rid of it. All i can say is thank you Matt Wilson and Ovtune. Highway testing tomm. Raining cats and dogs right now.

The system ID is tied to hardware, did you change/add any hardware (Replaced parts) since you last used the program?

 

I've got less than 10 to send (excluding people who very recently updated to TSB and already has a ticket in the system about it)
