First leg today had me riding the ILS down to 300’ in the CJ. That was fun.

That's some trust building exercise right there. I was gonna go for my VFR cert and the whole "hood visor" thing freaked me out to much.

I don’t like the hood. It’s always a relief when you see those approach lights peeking through the clouds!

I'm totally fine in the clouds, rain, etc. Its just that hood being so close to my face that got me. IDK what my holdup was.

Prob didn't help I used this model:

Fun, but I do feel bad sharing the pattern with one in a 152.

Have you ever seen the spitfire or corsair fly there? I'm told he occasionally takes them up.

02 Tacoma, fixed with curse words.
The airport I worked at in college had alot of kalittas charter division (falcons/lears) operating in and out of it and EVREYTINE their damn CC got declined. So there I was at 330am half asleep wanting to spike the cc machine into the ground because all I wanted to do was go home and back to sleep. They eventually had to prepay evreything which made us rampers life suck when they wanted a top off and we had to bill them out. Out of all the bottom feeder cargo opertors we had flying in and out of there, the most "reputable" one gave us the most problems. 2nd was USA jet, their premodonna pilots never wanted to push pallets once inside the plane and our company policy was we could not. So it was argue argue argue, shut the forklift off and sit there. Eventually the button pusher would throw a tempertantrum and start moving pallets around.

Met Connie he's cool, Doug's an asshole.

One of the stories Scott told us was that back in the early 70's Connie needed some parts for his top fuel car at a race. Connie had the Pilot land the Cessna on the drag strip so he could get the parts....
