Be careful. You might get yelled at for not emailing mat.

I have 4.88’s and there were times it held 5th at 1100 or so rpms at low speed.

Please note the tune is not optimized for us with gears so tweaking may be needed.

This actually bodes well for the M/T tune, assuming that the throttle mapping is similar. I've found that all files have "softened" a bit WRT throttle over time.

    C'mon M/T files :goingcrazy:

It looks like you are trying to use a copy of the original file <filename (1).p5f>, try flashing with the original file instead of the copied one. I can't believe it would matter but why not give it a go?

The fact you think people posting on a forum is preventing mat from working is laughable.

    MT folks are fricken whiny

Go to the top right of the page and enter "transmission clunk 1.05" or "1.05 clunk" and tick off "search this thread only". For me a bunch results show up but only a few are actually related to the clunk or 1.05.

Yes there have been people talking about the transmission clunk but my question was specifically asking about AFTER flashing 1.05 if the symptoms were still present. One guy said his transmission was 1.5 qt low on his transmission and experienced clunk and another said his has been doing it since day one just like mine. Another person has stated they had the clunk since 1.04/1.04R and another has stated the clunk has gotten worse with time, however none of these are related to after flashing 1.05. One person did say their "clunk" was gone after 1.05 so that has left me curious because mine hasn't hence why I'm asking.

I don't care about PM one person because my question was regarding consensus of those who have experienced the clunk and whether if they're still experiencing it after 1.05, anything before 1.05 doesn't matter because we are now on the latest release. If the clunk is not related to ECU/TCU then that is all I need to know. So maybe instead of posting another rant about how you don't like questions being asked or "uSe tHe sEaRcH eNgInE" and how we must comply with Matt maybe actually respond with something that is on subject to what I was asking about to help me out like others have that way I will shut up and be on my way. Thank you.

I'm not complaining, I just wanted to know if other people's trucks with similar configuration behave the same.

Don’t let them get to ya.

    Use the ignore button.

Consensus is the clunk is gone for most.

I need more miles to confirm but stock my clunk was mild and only occurred when cold and even that was rare.

1.05 on 87. First time ever in the Taco, cruising down the highway not paying attention to the speedometer, looking down and seeing I'm going faster than I though I was going.

I remember updating my video card and updating the driver to my external monitor as it was using generic PnP so I installed the one specific for my new monitor.

I bet. I drive to damn much to use 93. Unless I slip over to Ohio to get gas. Not to bad over the line. .

    Mine does.

I’m hoping mat will be able to fine tune for folks with gears. It’ll take time.

He did say he had 4.88’s in order I think. So that’ll help.
