Is anyone running dual batteries and a inverter? I've got a big ass inverter that could come in handy while camping. Looking for ideas.

40 bucks on Amazon. Great reviews. And checked it out on another forum. And it would be easier to run some solar and dual batteries and this inverter than drag the generator

First world problems. Can’t take the Tacoma grocery shopping because I have the trailer hitched, can’t take the Tesla because it doesn’t have insurance yet, so I’m left to take the Mercedes.

Why can't you take the tacoma? Just a trailer, people park in car parks and such with them all the time.

Small parking lot. Don’t want to deal with the NYE rush.

You'll probably be ok. My truck was lifted for about 4 yrs before I got a CB drop. No vibes at all. Then I installed a CB drop for the heck of it. I've been running the CB drop for about 8 yrs now.

But I have a different CB drop, it's an entire bracket that drops much lower. Oh and I never bother to torque it.

Here you can see how straight my driveshaft is with the CB drop & the truck sitting at ride height.

Here's what my original CB looked liked after 17 yrs. Still had no vibes in that condition. I replaced it a few months ago.

I replaced my CB & the stake nut, I still didn't worry about torquing it. :crapstorm:

Hot damn that's a much bigger CB drop than mine lol...I didn't even see that one as an option anywhere, where'd you get it? The only kits I could find were for 2nd gens

You should’ve seen me attempting to backup the trailer today. Was a mess.

And yes I understand it’s as easy as “steering with the bottom of the wheel in the direction you want the trailer to turn” But it’s quite a learning curve.

No, I just didn’t feel like dealing with NYE shoppers and a small parking lot in a busy shopping center.

I didn’t feel like unhitching it.

That's an okay learners tactic but you can make it second nature by just taking a cone or two to an empty lot and backing it straight through the lines to the cones, then get fancy and offset the cones a bit each time so you have to end up doing a full circle, you'll learn it all like that

Finally found it lol. They were made by Beefed Taco. He had 1-1/2" & 2-1/4" drop brackets. I have the early style bracket.

    http://stores.streetacos.com/carrier-bearing-bracket-1-1-2-95-5-04-tacoma-4-lower-rear-lift/
    http://stores.streetacos.com/carrier-bearing-bracket-2-1-4-95-5-04-tacoma-5-higher-rear-lift/

And here's the thread. But you may want to check first though, there's a warning at the top of the thread saying people have had problems. But his website is still up so not sure what happened to him.

You know what, come think about it I remember talking about these when we were at Pismo. I remember the other person had the newer style & I had the original style. Must of been @FLBAdrian, I can't think of who else was there that would've had it.
