I suspected that seeing the 440C blade. I personally don't trust generic brands/inexpensive autos in my pocket. No surprise that it has fired in your pocket. Not likely to happen with more expensive autos like the Microtech you were eyeing.

I Own a “special edition” SG spider monkey! Sweet knife with lots of sentimental value. My daily carry is just this 40 yr old Case knife

What's interesting is I had no idea Southern Grind was owned or started by Zac Brown. But then again I don't listen to country music so I'm not familiar with the Zac Brown Band.

This SG was given to me by a friend. He ordered several of them with his company’s logo on the blade. I have to say I really like it.5DB8A719-3AB6-48C9-922B-6B581ED46871.jpg

Rad! Love the Emerson pocket catch on these knives. Makes it easy to open if you have one hand tied up! Love my SG bad monkey

This showed up today from a preorder I totally forgot about.

    Berg Blades SLiM

    20181231_190056.jpg

Next to it's big brother the Golem. The Golem is too big, too fat for comfortable pocket carry so I never carry it. The SLiM is so much better in size. I think I'm gonna have to sell the Golem eventually.

Been playing with this little guy for the past 1/2 hr. Next to the Golem & it's satin blade I was starting to think this SLiM had too much stonewashing w/ bead blasted hardware. But I kind of.like tge rugged working finish look & I absolutely love this thing now. Love the size, bearings are smooth, & Spydie flicks nice. It's a keeper, unfortunately the Golem has got to go.

I’m about to try a new thing. I just purchased a Leatherman wave+. I’m going to ditch the pocket knife for a multi tool for a little while and see how I like it.

I’m interested to see who carries both and what the thoughts are on the multi tools as a whole. I chose the wave+ due to functionality. I have a Gerber attached to my fly fishing sling pack and use the shit out of it when I’m fishing. It works but after a few years I have complaints.

I have a leatherman wave and carry it a lot, it’s a bit much so not everyday but on the days I know I’ll use it. The pocket knife... well that is always with me
