Got a before and after on two setups for you guys bouncing between suspension setups and and tires.. Keep in mind I'm 1/2" lower than normal in the front from my winch setup. Have a dakar medium pack and archive hangers that I will put on one day when I've absolutely nothing else to do, but right now I'm done screwing with it. Getting 18-19mpg with OVTune 1.05 without tire size correction, so I'm doing really well for 33's.

I switched the suspension around to get rid of the nose high look and level left to right a bit, and swapped out tires because my falkens rode like shiit.

Before... 265 70 17 Falken Wildpeaks, 6112/5160 set to 5/6 with 1/4" front spacer, 3 leaf aal with overload taken out.

    2910741-16ccedeb422eddd7af40a1ffbd78ab57.jpg

After... 285 70 17 Ridge Grapplers, 6112/5160 set to 5/6 with no spacer, 3 leaf aal with overload in and 3 degree shim. I also took the smallest of the 3 leaf aal out on the passenger side to compensate for the lean.

I think I did. But I also did a ton of stuff at one time, swapping this with that, adjusting here and there, those falkens were screwing with me, etc.... it was all a blur. The biggest reason for putting it on was the extra height it gave me and it seemed to be the TW thing to do.

Oh yah, I did the cb drop as well, but I’m going to take it back out now that I’m vibe free and it’ll hopefully stay that way.

They ride a ton better than the falkens did, but my falkens had issues so you could get good ones I would think. I got the SL rated tires.

Yeah, I’ve disliked them since I put them on. Went with a load range C since it’s a light truck. Still rides terrible and gets flat spots. I’m goin to be switching to toyo’s either r/ts or the muds. Have had nothing but great experiences with Toyo in the past, so I’m kicking myself now with the nittos.

Ok first I’ve heard of this most people love em.. it’s been my choice as of yet. But it’s between these and the Toyo RTs

    Thanks

Haha yeah most people do love them. Maybe I just got a bunk set...I tried reaching out to nitto about a month into having them, and they basically told me to kick rocks.
But go with your gut! And hopefully it works out for the best. They are definitely a good looking tire.

I bought from discount tire direct and they had excellent customer service when I contacted them about my crappy falkens. My ridge grapplers are awesome, but think they’d be there for me if I didn’t like them. I think no matter which tire you choose, but them from dtd. Just my opinion
