Got around to installing some goodies from Santa.

OCD glove box organizer
Raptor grill lights
IJDMtoy 30” light bar
AVS vent visors
And.... Falken Wildpeak AT3s

 

Yesterday but my body is still paying for it today.
Stupid exhaust jack made more work than it was worth.


The tire shenanigans.
Yesterday I popped the factory front right tire twice.
The first was just a slow leak. Actually split a lug down the middle. IE throw air in it and limp it home.
But the second one was a 3 in gash in the sidewall followed up by stupidity with a stupid ass exhaust jack. I will never in my life use one of these again. 3 strikes its out on this. First two times I've tried these ended up using a bottle jack too.
The fun starts with a ripped sidewall... You can see the offending rock on the left side of the trail.
first try, bag stops the spare from going on and we can't get to the valve to release the air.
(The clouds move in)

Bag try two and it rolled sideways, blocking the air inlet.
(now a light snow starts)

Try three was a screw jack on the lower A-arm and it all got better.

 

I was thinking about doing this for my dog. Its nice to see the picture so I just ordered one.

 

Where can I find that shifter at?

My anytime front camera system ended up making my entire TSS System shutdown, then it spread to loss of power in window switches. Turned out it blew my a main fuse. Uninstalled everything and replaced the fuse, it’s been 20k miles since without the issues. As much as I thought the camera was neat, I’m scared to install it again.

 

I have the Astro drill adapter rivet tool, that I have used with my dewalt 20V battery. I will probably use a 12V drill and be careful not to pull the rivet. Thanks

 

I seem to recall a similar story from someone posting in the anytime camera thread. If I recall, they replaced that fuse with a slightly bigger one and never had trouble afterward.


Added: Ha! Never mind. It was your post I recall, but thought you fixed it. I knew this sounded familiar.

How did you have yours wired up? Any idea how the main fuse blew?

 

Man I have 4,600k mimes on my truck and I feel I have a lot of miles

 

Swapped out the lousy stock tweeters with the Subaru Kicker upgrades that plug right in. This simple mod definitely lived up to the hype -- the entire front stage improved pretty dramatically!

Installed this today. What an excellent setup. Super happy to say the least. Anyone know why there isn’t a Limited pictured within the app? Not a huge deal but..

 

Got all the toys clean for the New Year!

 

Fuse the camera with a smaller fuse. That way it’ll blow it before messing with the main fuse.

 

Which kit is that and how did you install them on the top row?
