Is that even a serious fucking question? You live where it’s cold enough to ski and you don’t have a set of tire warmers? You’d better get your shit together.

I keep a generator on-board to power them when I’m at the mall and the plug in hybrid spots are taken....

You forgot to mention that you have to rotate your tires diagonally first got damnit! This way, it achieves maximum heating capacity when eating a burrito. I swear....

I'm jumping on the latest technology. acetylene filled tires. Keeps a small pilot light lit in the tires. Floats better than 35s

With all the talk of valve stem caps, psi’s, heated tire warmers, will this topic cure ED or PE?

    Asking for @stun gun

Sorry if answered already but nitrogen particles are larger than oxygen particles so nitrogen bleeds out through the rubber at a lower rate than oxygen does.

Anyone ever run C25 in their tires? I hate it when I'm in the middle of mig'ing something and run out of gas... this way I could just pull the taco into the garage, hook the hose up to the valve stem, and boom, finish the project.

I could run a different shielding gas in each tire in case I had to switch to TIG or a different metal.

Haha. There’s been exactly two “real” answers out of a couple hundred in this thread... as mentioned earlier it’s REALLY a gimmick. You know what they say about a fool and his money.

Nitrogen sounds more elegant than oxygen. Some people will pay a premium for “air” as we speak. Tires lose air. It’s a given. So at some point, wallets will slowly disintegrate as they keep putting nitrogen into a sinking blimp.

    Oh, that was a joke.....

    Du er sjov!

I appreciate the recommendation btw, but somehow just know that running those green caps is an invitation for some petty criminal to jack that expensive air right out of my tires.

I am going to go incognito, and run black caps.

    Thanks though...

If you goto Costco they’ll fill your tires up with nitrogen for free :anonymous:

Make sure you have one of these on it your tire stem so it can mix the 21% oxeygen and 78% nitrogen on your pilot.

Or you’ll get a sooty black carberizing flame and people won’t understand your pilot flame. They’ll just think you’re not taking care of your car or having the proper pilot to warm your tires in the winter months.

Really? Learn something new everyday, but there be no Costco near my happy ass. Besides, good ol’ air will do me just good!

Just enough to look kinda cool.
How do I check the mixture already in my tires? (So I know that I'm running the correct valve stem cap) Asking for some advise from some experts.

I don't even use caps because I change the air out every time I get gas along with my oil change.

Switch to synthetic air and you won't have to change it as often.

Can someone post a how-to video to show how those green caps get installed.
