So I got hit in a McDonalds parking lot. I'm driving parallel to the drive thru lane and some crackhead (white so maybe be meth? anyway) decides to pull out of the lane while I was driving by. I saw her in the corner of my eye (cause she hit me driver's side rear!) but there was nothing I could do, that hopeless slowmo feeling.

So, I get out and I see her car first, and judging by her damage I think HOLY crap, my truck is going to be so messed up. Somehow, I only had some slight damage to my FJ rim.

If you see any for sale, please let me know.

    Here is her car:
Bumper is mostly on the ground, but still attached somehow. The water is from the cracked radiator.

Here is my damaged rim. I could not find ANY other damage.

Somehow it makes me feel better that her car had to be towed. She even asked me if I would tow her home.

I'm going through my insurance since they are treating it as a her fault and they will collect from her insurance. I have a license plate number and an insurance card so hopeful they will be able to collect from someone.

I would still have my truck checked over. You could have something tweaked.... like the rear axle. Or something you didn't see... just saying cause it happened to me since I failed to get a police report one time. I was younger and never involved in a wreck before, and the girl was rushing me saying everything was ok. Wish I would have got a police report. Now I just live with the little crease in my rear bumper, and look at it and remember to get a police report next time.

No, she was really far from hot. Old and all tattoo'ed up. I really think she was on something.

get your trucks front end checked out, you never know if something is bent, and buy a new rim. bill it all to the girls insurance.
