so just finished my install on a leveling kit 2018 TRD sport 3 inch front 2 rear, haven't done alignment yet waiting for tires to come in but have a pretty good what seems to be driveline vibration. What do you guys usually run into with the leveling kits? Shim rear blocks to an angle? Front diff drop? Thanks!

So you're saying after you installed the leveling kit the truck now vibrates?

Check and see if the rear blocks are installed correctly. The blocks possibly could already be shimmed, make sure there not installed facing the wrong way!! If the blocks are installed correctly rule of thumb is 1*deg. Of shim per 1” of lift !! Get Your Alingment Done ASAP!! If the truck vibrates in the front after Alingment put the truck in 4hi and if the vibration goes away while in 4hi it’s your needle bearing on the drivers side causing the vibration!! You will need the east coast gear supply bushing. Ecgs bushing!! This will possibly fix your vibration in the front!! Hope this helps

I will double check to see if the blocks are installed correctly, I did look to see if there was any angle or one side higher than the other and I didn't see any difference, possible I didn't look close enough though. I should be getting alignment done today, I was waiting on my tires to come in but I haven't driven the truck more than a few streets since then. And yeah it's hard to say if it's a vibration or more of a "shimmy" feel I know that's weird but that's best way to describe it. I'll keep you guys posted. Fingers crossed it's alignment or something I overlooked

3 degree shims for the rear leaf pack and or a carrier bearing drop kit for you drive line will help as well. With lift comes more problems that need to be addressed at the time of installation. Good luck hope one of these fixes your vibration problem.

Crap. Just saw that these are supposedly tapered. So if so is the high side go towards rear or front?

Did you get the problem fixed, or does it still shake?

I'll be surprised if they really are tapered despite the seller says they are, seems like it would have been pretty easy to see by pictures I'm looking at of what 3 degrees would look like

Not trying to thread jack, but it looks like the original poster had his question answer.
I need axle shims for my vibration, I have EL096R-P OME/Dakar. I'm looking at the Toytec TT3DS shims, but it says it needs drilling to work with the Dakar's EL096. Do I need to drill out the leaf packs center hole for the new longer bolt?
But it also says: "**NOTE- Use RS slotted shims for use with Toytec rear lift block kits or EL095/EL096 Dakar Springs."
But I can't find "RS slotted shims" It's confusing. lol here's the link to Toytecs site. Thanks for any help.

Didn’t quite solve it all yet but it is better. I had my blocks in backwards the taper going the wrong way and it obviously improved. I habe since dropped the front diff and added some spacers at the carrier bearing and it's Def better but still needs some modifications. Rather frustrating. I'm thinking I may also need some shims for the back and maybe play with the carrier drop height. This truck is picky!
