Why do you want to spin tires? Spinning tires mean little to no forward motion. Spinning tires also costs money in terms of limiting tire life. I got over burnouts in my late teens when good ole Dad made me buy a set of tires with my money to replace the bald ones I created by acting 'cool'. The 4 banger is a point A to point B engine. Not a high speed sports car powertrain.

Happens on exit ramps in rain when stopped. Don’t do burnouts if you like your trans. It’s auto

Without posi-traction or lockers I spin quite a bit in the winter but keep it at a minimum. No way you won't on ice from time to time. Especially with only one tire providing the traction. I've got Cooper ATW's on mine right now and they seem to work slightly better than the Michelin M/S 2's I had before. It is, of course, better when in 4WD but I still have to be careful.

I also spin the rear tires sometimes, when starting out on wet roads... mostly by accident :D
