    Thanks!

Found it on the Toyota website. MSRP is a little steep at $325 but it is a very clean way of dividing cargo and holding cargo foreward or rearward.

Or use this instead of a divider.

That is less appealing. something about spreading my bed apart is not appealing. Maybe if I put bed stiffeners in but this isnt a good solution IMO

I have a short bed and found that Plano sportsman 1719 trunk/totes fit perfect with numerous configurations. I have 4 for my camping and wheeling gear so far; will probably get more. There’s a write up on the overlandbound forum on waterproofing them too; my next project will be doing that. Tried posting a link but won’t work; just google waterproofing the plano sportsman box.

I agree. The OEM would help hold the bed sides vertical instead of exerting outward pressure of the HF cargo bar. I like the OEM model even if it is a bit pricey.

That looks like a Hardigg. Military issue. The bottom right corner looks off as far as the mold, but the rest of it looks like a match. Check ebay.

I really like this. How did you secure them? Where did you get them?

It’s these cans. Just line up with rail and drill hole in side of cans and bolt to bed rail with the t nuts and M8 x 1.25 20mm bolts.

Thanks! That's how I would have guessed you did it - drill, + Tnuts to the rail.

I bought it at a military surplus store and bolted some angle iron on the sides and threw a tray in there. Then I bolted it straight to the bed with rtv sealent all over the bolt holes. I used the wood on the edge to keep it level I wanted it as far to the side of the bed so that when i don't have my sleeping platform in there the cargo i'm hauling will not rock the box back and forth. if you have a tacoma with bedrails thats a better way to mount it mine is a first gen.

I can't take credit for that i got that idea from another thread but it definitely makes it more secure! i was looking at buying one of those wheel well tool boxes for $200-$300 dollars stumbled on the post about ammo can tool storage and spent $30 on the ammo can and maybe $12 in hard ware and the tray. cleaned up my back seat no more shuffling my tool box around when i need to give people a ride or contorting my body around the driver seat to grab a screwdriver!

I found the same thread here! I plan on installing one of two cans tomorrow since the T nuts I ordered finally came in.
