    Happy New Year guys!

Nick/Scott - quick question for ya. So behind the seats in my DCSB are all those storage bins that I have full of stuff (tools, small compressor, tow straps, jumper cables, etc.). Is there an equivalent storage area in the 4Runner?

Happy New Year's Mark! The rear seats folds flat and that will be your storage room. There's some room underneath the rear seats to hide stuff. The 4Runner doesn't have the storage bins like the Tacoma, it has more storage

I think with the rear seats down, the 4Runner has more cargo space than a short bed Taco with a cap.

Thanks Nick. With the rear seats up, are there some cubbies/compartments to store some things?

There’s a little cubby on the passenger side if you don’t have the subwoofer (not sure if newer models have that like my old 2010 TE did). If you have the slide out tray there’s a little cubby that’s maybe 3”-4” wide, 3” deep and about 20”-30” long that I stuffed jumper cables in. Without the tray, not much and that’s why I built drawers

You're welcome Mark, yes there a deep cubby on the rear passenger side and two small compartments on top of the wheel wells. I put my ARB tire gauge, extra rags, bear stray, etc... in the deep cubby. Also on my sliding rear deck tray in the front, there is a hidden storage compartment you can also store stuff in. It's only for the sliding rear deck tray.

I will caution though, without the rear sliding tray, it’s not flat and you’ve got a slight transition of 1.5”-2” up towards the rear seats.

Nice rig, looks like Im not the only one who added a 5th gen to their toy fleet. Love my OR premium as well. Did you do a exhaust relocate or do the rci skids accomodate it?
