Looks great. But I’m not a fan of the “hidden hitch”. It takes away simple utility if you frequently use the hitch. And I think hitches look good on “off road” styled vehicles. Just my opinion. Otherwise looks great.

Question about the plugs on the bumper.. Does RCI offer the bumper to be made without the back up sensor holes?

I inquired about this. The answer was “no”. Truthfully, you hardly notice the plastic plugs they provide. My truck does not have parking sensors.

Guys drop insane money to make their trucks look good. In my opinion the hidden hitch has no utility. And doesn’t even fit the style of an off road vehicle. Why would you want a hitch hidden? Put it on your Mercedes suv. Same reason you want exposed tow points. More useful and fits the style.

RCI offered to do a custom build for me with a hitch receiver below the bumper. This kinda defeated the purpose of “high clearance” for me, and was going to add to the already pricey build cost. I do use the receiver for a bike rack, but it’s not an issue with the hinged plate.

I drive a lot of deactivated logging roads to get the places I’m going. The purpose of this bumper is to get me through the cross-ditches without always scraping the back end like I was. I don’t want to put a huge lift on the truck, and the only issue I was experiencing was constantly ripping the decorative caps off the stock bumper.

    ^^^this.

It’s a real problem where I drive. They cross ditch the old logging roads and remove the culverts. The approach angle on the Taco works, but you can literally have your back wheels come off the ground when the rear bumper hits.

Dang guys, if y’all keep up posting I’m going to need a part time job. This is the first bumper that I love the looks of. And I’m just getting ready to get the SSO Slimline for the front now all the sudden I need this to. Ugh does it ever end?

It’s easiest thing to scrape. Tank trapped logging roads catch the rear hitch constantly

I don't offroad, but I know the utility stems in raising the lowest point of the bumper several inches higher for better ground clearance over whatever you happen to be crawling on.

I like it. Looks like a great design, and it appears there are extra mounting points to accommodate a 1" body lift. That's good engineering

One of my favorites, currently on the fence between this and the CBI high clearance, but I love the lines of this one.

My hitch digs so many ditches someone should be paying me for it.
