Main thing that sucked about mine was I went in for surgery at 245, 6 weeks later I was almost 210. After 9 1/2 weeks I was 206.6 no matter what I ate I couldn’t keep weight on. I was north of 6000 cal a day and still dropping extremely fast. At the time thought it was great.

I had major foot surgery in October of 2015 then the rotator cuff in April of 2016.
Foot surgery was involved and he laid hardware.
I ate like crazy and lost a bit of weight. By the time I did the shoulder I was getting fat.
I think when your body is in repair mode, especially for bone I think you burn through cals like nuts.

What is everyones lift/fitness/nutrition goal(s) for the year?

I’d like to be in the 160s# at 8-10% BF by Memorial Day

Bench 285 at some point in the year

My squat number has almost always been below my bench. This year I’d like to see my squat meet or exceed my bench.

Also to the best of my abilities control not having huge swings in weight and remain steady throughout the year.

Kind of fitness related as it impacts my gym performance but not let my TPO get into double digits so I don’t have the above.

I would also like to cut back down to 165lbs by summer. Currently sitting at 173. Being skinny fat my entire life and never having a full visible 6 pack, I want to commit to eating right and working alot more on my core this year.

Been rehabbing a shoulder injury, would like to get my bench to 300-315 by end of this year.

Bring my squat up to 365 by summer.

Deadlift 500 weighing in at or below 165.

I would like to compete again. Haven't been on the platform since 2009, when I was 22. At that time I totaled 1480 @ 220 (natty, brah). Would like to total 1550 @ 242 this year (still natty, but old as shit).

Currently #212 about 12% BF. Want to be 235 10% BF by end of the year. It's doable, just gotta do it. Girlfriend is competing May 4th too. This will help me stay focused since she falls off the wagon easier then I give in LOL. Now that she's committed, it's gain time baby.

Good luck everybody! It's there for the taking.

    So many goals.
    1. Finish this cut in the next 4-6 weeks. Should put me around 157-158.
    2. Eat at maintenance or maybe ever so slightly above for the majority of the year.
    4. Get strooooong.
    3. Reeeealy want to pull close to 500 this year. Think 475-485 is a good goal.

How tall are you? I'm 5'11 lanky AF which helps with pulls but in turn I have a poverty bench and even worst OHP lol

Compete in PL at 181 and total 1100

365/270/465 would put me right at 1100 so I’m shooting for that. But I’ve also been fighting a shoulder injury that I fear is going to set me back big time.

You gonna bulk back up at all?

6’1 and lanky here with poverty bench and the OHP of a 110lb female.

Cut down to 215-220 and bench 405, squat 500 and pull 600. Were maxing in few weeks, should be about 25-50lbs off from those numbers.

Also run more so im not out of breath tying my shoes.

My goal is to be 165-170, currently at 172. Pretty happy with my #’s, just want to at least maintain them and cut a little fat. That weight should put me at 10% bf.

5'10"ish. Your problem is my problem. Haha. I squat and pull pretty well, but pressing is hard for me.
Yea. Going to take it slow though. Going to see what my body does at maintenance first. It's been so long in deficit, I'm not sure what to expect. After that, I'll add in as many carbs as I can while staying fairly lean.
    Dang, strong!
