Really? I thought they were around $200 when I bought mine. I'm extremely happy with how mine seem to perform on both my trucks in any condition.

I'd also recommend anyone that buys from Discount to get the protection plan. I'm one tire away from having a new set due to sidewall cuts. Not punctures.

Questions for those who have installed bud built skids... when you take the two nuts off the stearing rack to install the angle bracket do I have to replace the bushings, the outside is cracked where it has been exposed hoping no big chunks fall out and do I have to get an alignment afterwards, it drives straight currently. I’m hoping to just back the nuts off throw bracket on and tighten nuts back down and be on my way

Yeah your bushings look like they've seen better days, no need to replace them right away if your steering still feels solid though. You can just install the bracket and be on your merry way, alignment shouldn't change appreciably.

    No it comes powder coated

I've have maxxes for a long time now. They are pretty good. I don't love them by any means. But they haven't ever let me down so can't complain. They take a beating quite well.

Have fun fitting that size! Gonna take a lot of effort but should be cool hope you got at least 4.88s or 5.29s if your an auto

4.88s. Lots of hammering to get them to fit?

No mall crawlers around here, the nearest mall is over 100 miles away.

Went camping for New Years with @Ace115. Ran the first 2 sections (mostly) of the AZBDR route. Rained and then snowed during the night and we woke up to this.

This is right next to the spot that almost swallowed @Ace115 truck too. Fortunately, he yelled stop in time since his son was driving.

Beautiful views as we drove out this morning.

Awesome overnight trip. Looking forward to running the trail again at the end of February!

Sorry, I'm not up on all the specifics of mall crawling. Do you actually have to go into the mall parking lot to qualify. Not really sure how it works.

    Yep.

All the pinch weld needs to go. Then you'll need to go to town on the firewall with a BFH. Back corners of the fenders and flares will need to be cut. Windshield washer reservoir will need to be relocated. Various places on the top of the wheel well will need to be BFHed. Front corner of the fenders should be cut. Front of the rear fenders and flares will require cutting. And probably some other stuff I'm forgetting.

    Have fun.

I'll probably go this route next time. No matter what kind of expensive ass tires I get they chunk up and it pains me, my ST Maxx were more than twice that $$$$ (for 5) and I would rather spend less and not care as much about how beat up they get. Especially when the truck becomes a weekend toy and not my primary.

I've heard mostly good things about Cepek tires too for the money so seems like a good buy, only real complaint I've read about is the noise but my truck is loud AF anyway

Hopefully my Coopers last me at least another year lol, they'd better for how much money I spent on them. My last set of KO2s lasted me a year, still had tread life but they were pretty haggard and I wanted to go up to 33s. Tyler is rocking my old KO2s now on his trailer lol.
