Lmao that's my favorite photo from the night. Man looking at the stats LSU should've won 52-10 or so. Ridiculous how much they helped ucf out

 

So what did we learn today? LSU is about as good as UCF?

 

We learned that LSU is the new National Champs because they beat UCF

 

LSU was much much MUCH better than UCF. But not necessarily at scoring. Which we all have known for the last 10 years LSU isn't great at scoring.

Ummm so UCF isn't "packing", they hung with LSU. You guys gave them substance to hang their hat on by not blowing them out. Good job LSU

 

LSU shutting UCF up would be like what Clemson did to Notre Dame, which that was nothing like it.

 

How about considering that maybe UCF is decent. Definitely not a perennial power, but have put together a decent team with low-star recruits

 

I mean you're right, but you're wrong. LSU was missing 9 defensive starters. LSU amassed over 550 yards, and LSU had 45 minutes time of possession. As I said, the scoreboard doesnt show the truth. A pick 6 that was gifted by them not calling a flag, a muffed punt by LSU on their own 10, and a couple of busted plays by having to play a WR at CB for the game. But go ahead...think what you want...you ucf fanboy.

Precisely what I'm saying. You're only looking at one thing. One thing does not determine if a team is good or not, especially when they still lost at that one thing.

 

Best part of the RoseBowl so far is the ref catching the balloon.

By packing...they lost and so forth. As in Iowa sent us packing today.

There’s no disrespect from us towards UCF. As you might remember UCF chose to get pissy because they weren’t chosen by the playoff committee last year. Are we to join their “me too” movement and pitch fits when it doesn’t go our way? Well to an extent we grumble about bad ref calls and such, but who the heck gets rings made, fly over natty banners, headline local newspaper, and on and on.

Anyway, they have what many teams lack, brotherhood & grit. Good game to UCF for beating Auburn and staying in the game with LSU.
