Day 2 at the new house.
We're literally sleeping on air mattresses and using outdoor furniture to sit on with limited appliances hooked up.
No stove or dishwasher. But we do have a fridge and running water.

My Pops didn't have furniture delivered this weekend because.....its hunting season and he's rather hunt than sit on furniture or have appliances.

Litteraly, were camping inside the shell of a house. It's nuts.

Father/Son Bonding! Lol when we moved into our last house we ate dinner watching Deadpool on our TV hung on the wall in camp chairs. Priorities!

 

Ha...hes not here. He's at the old house in Indiana painting and fixing stuff.
I'm stuck here with 2 bitter old woman, (rightfully so) that had to pick up and leave their home after 20 years.

Yes, heat, barely. The ladies like to keep it on 69 and wear coats and hats in the house. Also, it's a 2 story but up here, there is only 1 heat/air unit for the entire house.

 

Sounds perfect.

We had to turn the AC on because it reached 72 in our house because it has been so warm and humid down here. Everything feels wet/damp to the touch.

 

I still have a camp chair in the living room.




To be fair, all the furniture is too far from the TV for gaming so I pop out the camp chair so I can sit closer and actually see.

Same here. I was pouring sweat installing a much needed ceiling fan in our office upstairs. Had enough of the heat cranked the AC up u til I got that fan in.

Sounds like a good excuse to get a bigger tv.

There’s still time before the twins!

 

I just moved my desk upstairs into one of the spare bedrooms and had to turn on the AC up there because it was so hot. 76 degrees upstairs. The move was the beginning of setting up the nursery. We have a big piano in the den that needs to move, so we moved the desk, to move the piano.

Next up is two sliding barn doors to cover the 8' doorway, then clean, paint, and start moving furniture in. Oh, and change out the chandelier to a dome light, add curtains etc.

Our house has a built in, the tv is about as big as we can get that'll fit. You know, in 1998 TV's were much much smaller! Plan was to tear out the built in and flush mount a TV but you know, things happen.
