I have opted to just buy a new headlight assembly from Rock Auto.
I think it’s better than effing around with constant refinishing. But in the meantime I will experiment with the buffing till it arrives

 

I don't remember how long ago but I saw Jimmy Page at the New Haven Colosseum. Won the tickets from WPLR too.

I Saw Zeppelin in the Philadelphia Spectrum 75, MSG in 77, still have my Zeppelin tickets for their concert in 80 with Eric Clapton at the JFK stadium in philly that never happened because of John Bonham's death

Corpus Christi, TX is home.

There is stuff that is better here... but, the climate and traffic, etc, just totally kill it for me. And I am at my absolute busiest during the best weather(hot).
Wife's first trip home for this year is next month.
At the current rate things are going, not too sure how much longer we are going to be up here, overall.

I have toyed with going to sea as a civilian, but.... it would have to be on a tug. She wont put up with me being gone that much.

Right now, just prepping for the long haul....

 

Happy new year! Got my sunscreen. Ready to enjoy my first bowl game. This will be the AFC championship World Series ALCS in ALDS and Rose Bowl all in one year. With their $17 beers they're giving Gillette a run for their money. The jalapeño margaritas are pretty good though

 

Yep, I’ve been working 4/2 for the past six years. I was engaged and she kept talking about me getting a land job. Money just wasn’t there. (She was from Charlotte) I had to choose between her and being broke or sailing and here I am!

 

The food was better at the meeting, for sure. Spent about 4 hours in the local jail some years ago and that was enough for me.

Well. Back to work. Short week, then, on-call Monday.
Sunday is supposedly going to be warm again...

 

Hm... Yea haven't been to work in two weeks... I have no idea what I was doing before I left. I need to make a to-do list to un-fck my brain right now.

 

I've been working sporadically. These weeks(tgiving, Xmas/new years) are a shit show on a good year. I try to minimize my work time, and allow for family time while the kids are home, etc. And hopefully some mental health time

 

Absolute garbage weather the past few weeks. We could have 2 feet of snow here but NOOOOOOOO

 

No complaints here.
