    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Fortunately I have an e-locker in the rear.

Eventually I think I want to do a Harrop Elock in front, but I figure I'll try the Spartan.

Starter is fine. Turns over good.

Just won't run. Doesn't even try to fire.

Could be a lot of things. Apparently needs oil..which is odd. Then who knows. Could be any number of sensors. Was tired of dicking with it in the freezing cold. Left it and will deal with it later

Pulled off the stock front brakes. Tossed on the big tundra calipers and vented discs. Had to crank up the rear proportioning valve adjustment about 3/4" to get the rears back about even. Once I did that, it brakes great! Haven't driven with a big load or trailer yet, but I know from my 97 4Runner the TBU makes a huge difference for those instances. Also finally washed it. We've had rainy days juuust often enough to keep me too lazy.

Everybody likes pictures....washed the 340 Duster too. For an old gal in primer she doesn’t look so bad. The Taco’s paint and body need some help for sure though.

Oil light was never on. Came on when trying to start. Oil is indeed low.

Hopefully not the pump. That won't be fun to do outside

The oil light will come on when its cranking.. your not going to build up enough pressure with the engine turning 200-300ish rpms the starter can manage

I noticed this was brought up before a few days ago. I have 3 Tacoma's and none of them have ever left the oil light on while starting.

Only one the oil was actually low did this happen to two of mine.

If the oil light is on even when cranking you need to add oil. A quick check of my dip stick confirmed this.

hmm odd. both the 01 and 02 oil lights come on until it catches. Oil level is dead nuts on both of them.

My corolla on the other hand has a dieing oil pump and the light stays on for a few seconds after starting...
    avalon light goes off immediately

Yeah I've never had that be a thing on my trucks.

Plus after cranking for a second it goes away on this truck.

Sure easy enough in a heated snow free garage haha

It's just been frigid these last couple days. Like high of 10. That's never fun.

Nor is crawling under a truck in snow in that temp haha I'll do it because I have to though.
