There's nothing wrong with going cheap on a non-target rifle that shoots a round that is really only usable under 300 yards.

A hunting rifle doesn't need to be sub-MOA.

So my question? Is Glock losing market share since it lost the Military contract and trying to fell the void? I have spoke with several people over the last few weeks about this and some close to Glock in the supply chain and they think so. We all know they are a huge manufacturer of firearms and most likely will continue to be just that but losing that contract hurt i am sure. With the longevity of these guns at some point sales drop could they be at that point?

Both pistols are priced the same as the G43 and are available in three sight configurations; standard, GLOCK Night Sights (GNS), and Ameriglo BOLD. This should be interesting. You can get a G43 for under $435 bucks now.

As long as it was all metal construction.. It wouldnt hurt my feelings. Im not a glock guy.. they dont fit in my hands very well but it doesnt matter to me who makes the 1911 as long as its built well and reliable.

Serious yes! I would give him the money for it so he could in return buy it back when he has the money is the only way I would buy it. I would just keep it so he could get it back.... I know he is going to regret getting rid of it!

Its a win-win. Basically offering a "loan" with the gun as colateral. He pays you back..he gets the gun back and you basically lose nothing. He doesnt pay...you get to keep the gun :)

I don't see how Glock could be losing money even after they lost the contract to Sig Saur, maybe if they're mismanaging the company they could but they still sell a ton of pistols to police departments and civilians alike. I would think Glock would be making money hand over fist, they have a proven design that overall hasn't changed much since the original Glock came out, shouldn't be costing the company much in the way of innovation/R&D. Glock only does one thing and that is produce pistols that run and run.

I recently built a P80 G19. The new version is so much easier than the first versions(had to file the plastic slide rails perfectly)
Now it’s just a little material removal and drop in the locking blocks/etc. I finished it in 15min sitting at my desk with some hand tools.(carton knife, drill, file)
