This very well could be true. A competitive analysis showed Glock along with all firearm manufactures losing market share with the current and past down turn in firearm sales over the last 2 years. Is Glock still a privately held company?

 

I tried to talk him out of getting married to her but I have no idea what he is thinking..... She moved in and ALL his stuff was put in storage I was like you have lost your mind. He told me something a few weeks back when this gun issue popped up when I was talking to him that came up after the wedding. She is not happy with his long term friends as she thinks they are not a good fit and he has to make a choice.

 

Sucks but I think we all have a friend or two that this has happened to. I was trying to get my buddy to by my colt AR15 from me about 20 years ago and he said he would have to check with his wife. I told him to go talk to her and while he was at it to reach way down into her purse and take that little glass jar that she kept his balls in so he could start making his own decisions. There was about 5 of us standing there laughing when we realized she was only about 20 feet away and she heard the whole thing. That got me put on her shit list for over a decade

He has also said he thinks he may have made a mistake and things have changed over the past yr that has him looking at options before he gets deep into this....

I see shit going down hard as she has a very bad temper and is very vindictive....

I have known this guy 40 plus yrs now.

I feel bad for him because he is an awesome dude not the smartest one but none the less an awesome dude that gets taken advantage of in relationships.

 

Here's the thing.. my wife and I talk about all big purchases (really anything 200 or more) before pulling the trigger but she knows me and knows that its typically only a matter of time before I make the purchase anyway. Both of our stances are that as long as we have everything we need and the bills are paid.. we can spend whatever money we want to spend. We also have separate finances meaning she has her checking and credit cards and I have my own. We dont snoop on each others spending and we trust that neither of us are idiots and are gonna put us in some financial crisis.

Theres nothing wrong with talking about big purchases, but when one person is so stubborn and stuck that the other cant spend money on what they want to buy... then that is where the problem lies.

I work way too hard to not buy what I want, when I want it (within reason, obviously) and the same goes for her. Her hobbies just tend to be significantly cheaper than mine haha. Jeep, Guns, and Backpacking gear gets expensive quick so usually I go all in with one hobby at a time. Right now I am off the Jeep and Gear and on guns lol
