Thanks, I’d been reading up on pallet selection. The ones I was just offered are pretty old, and the wood strength is hit or miss.

Pallet furniture can be a cool thing.

 

I once made a reclining chair out of pizza boxes.

 

A little far north, but depending on what is decided on I'd make the trip for quality ones.

I've been "volunteered" to build some things for my niece's wedding, including (but not limited to) a cupcake stand, table centerpieces, and a unity cross. The theme is "Texas Rustic." Pallets and different colored wood stain make for some very rustic things.

Ooh, a section of 4x4 is in one of the plans. Have to have everything done before June, which means (to my wife) April.

Maybe 24", but not longer than 36".

 

2, maybe 3 hours.....
