Brutal test of the 2019 4Runner. How would the 3rd gen Taco do?

He tests crawl control on the way back.

I was kind of waiting for the tranny, or rear diff to blow. Guess I've been reading too many 3rd gen Taco threads.

 

4runner has a lot of advantages. Better breakover, departure and ground clearance. More protection underneath, more weight over the rear axle. Beefier drivetrain.

I think the Tacoma would get hung up on the transmission cross member and exhaust crossover. Probably quite a bit of damage to the bumpers as they are quite delicate. Tail pipe wouldn't have been happy either.

That was a good video...have to give that guy credit. If I was the one driving i probably would have got stuck for sure.
