I don't know if Houston is any less of a pressure cooker. They don't seem to want to give anybody any leeway, and they have some billionaire booster calling all the shots. Too many cooks in the kitchen. It's a dumpster fire like auburn right now.

 

There’s rumor that we’re still making a run at Fickell, but it’s less loud than Brown. Brown was runner-up in a lot of searches.. and I think because he’s from Troy that schools have thought of him as a less sexy pick than someone like Les Miles.

Brown has won big games, so I’m excited about the prospect of a coach who can get a team ready to play.

 

Dana is BFFs with that booster. Word is that he didn’t come back to WVU after the bowl game.

Wish I had watched the game .. I love sad UGA fan faces. Would have given me flashbacks to when WVU beat them in a virtual home game in Atlanta due to Katrina.

 

I'm rewatching now that I'm sober to see how it actually went.

Their fans are all raging about how they’re a step up.. in a G5 conference with 50% of the revenue intake. They also open the season against OU, WAZZU, and North Texas. Big potential to go 0-3.

I want Fickell for recruiting and defensive coaching, but I’ll be happy with Brown for ability to coach and be adaptive.

I'm so tempted to talk shit but I'm going to keep it cool for now but I got some ammo for next season. Lol

Watched the game again sober today and it was as awesome as I thought it was.
But Texas did what they have done all season. They take a quarter off on defense. Against ou in the shoot out they had a 28 point lead and then again in the conference championship game they were up by 19 at one point. We lose a lot of experience on defense next year but our offense should be even bettter.

I just keep thinking if we had played a little defense maybe we could have held uga under 100yarss rushing. Lol
