Yea, we stayed in Bavaro, at the Excellence. The resort was nice, and nothing wrong with it, but the people that work there are imported from Haiti. So every day we were reminded by someone how hard they have it. Not the kind of guilt trip I want while on my vacation. I always joke and say we were linoleum poor growing up. Hell, I'm still blue collar.

 

@lynyrd3, @RobP62, y'all should travel all over Mexico, I really like it. If I can get an American job in Mexico, I'll take it cause it's really cheap to live there.

Guadalajara, Mazatlan, and Cancun are really nice touristic places.

 

I’m sure I would be fine ! 1000 acres in Iowa for deer hunting and a place in the Caribbean would suit me fine

 

Well, you just need to make it a three day event but seriously, I would love to do one of those giant music festivals but again, I am not staying in no tent. I would need a camper at the minimum. We are more resort oriented. LOL

Ahh you'll be fine. I've seen shit, but it's not bad. Just don't go into the city at night, stay in the suburbs.

 

That's our favorite vacation spot Eric. The first time we went was 1995. We've been back a couple times since then. Just recently to the Riviera. The people are fantastic and the prices are so fair. We love the food too.

 

My buddy lives 30 minutes from the site and there are some campgrounds closer . But yes ,no tent ,I would bring my camper

 

Great food. I'm extremely familiar with the entire republic, it's a beautiful country. Just don't fuck with the municipal cops, cause they'll kick the living shit out of you, especially if you're a tourist.

 

I went with the lady a couple of years ago, but we were only in Baja. I'd 100% go back to where we stayed.

 

They have good taste in wheels.

They just sand em', and spray paint them green. They're using f350 platinums, and High Country silverados.

 

It's beautiful down there in Loreto, Baja Sur. Amazing people, beautiful country, my first time trying legit Mexican food, killer fishing.
