Lift is approx 3” front / 2” rear. Also have wheel spacers 1.25”. I have no rubbing so far, but haven’t been off road yet. Steering wheel at full lock, there’s a 1/2 inch of clearance.

My factory one sounded like cheap plastic cracking ever bump. The dealer replaced it. They made sure to let me know that mirror is around $1600 Canadian lol

I put those in my factory fogs also. They work great with great cut off.

Installed a hidden winch on my step-mom's 2008 H3 Alpha

Not a Tacoma, but it was a similar project as my previous SSO Slimline and winch install. She saw mine and had to have it on her rig.

So I was looking at the homelink mirror which ranges in price up to $289 but I remembered I had a hidden one on my Harley. Figured it couldn't be any different and the Harley shop sells just a transmitter since the receiver can have multiple programmed to it. Pretty easy install just Ground, Power and High-beam power and zip and tuck the wires and that was it. Only works if the truck is in accessory mod or cranked up. Now I have a hidden garage door opener that doesn't take batteries or take up a switch space in the cab. Just tap the brights and good to go.

Finally got the Runnin4Tacos Raptor lights installed and the fogs aligned properly.

The amber fog lights with the Raptor lights tie it all together nicely. What made you decide to go with Runnin4Tacos vs Yota LEDs?

I wanted them on the top row (after putting these in, and having to modify the grill and lights, I imagine you could probably modify the Yota LEDs the same way. At my time of purchase, I was not aware of that), and I also liked the wider LEDs from Runnin.

No thank you. I paid $159 for mine because I got tired of picking up my garage door opener everytime I had to use my visor.

You think the hidden LED light bar would still shine well under that bull bar? I really want one but can't decide if I want the bar for that reason. I hate the look of light bars being exposed though

I purchased a used one from Bob's Automotive for $159 and looked practically new. If you change your mind hit them up.

    Just read this:

    Special Notes

    • The remote start will turn off when any door is opened
    • All Toyota/Lexus vehicles Push to Start ignition type will shut down if any door, hood or hatch is opened

Is this to prevent theft? If not, I don't understand the purpose of the remote start and being able to get in while it's still running. Can you explain the logic so I can get a better understanding?

It sounds like I’m right where you were...which one did you purchase?

I like this feature for theft prevention. My wife has a key ignition so if someone jumps in to steal it the car cuts off and no key in ignition to start it up again. The culprit would then feel like a real fool.

Nothing done to my truck today, but came across my brother’s old Toyota. I was young when he had it. Loved the truck though.

I'm doing the same thing. No switches, just a straight tap. I have a whole bunch of Add-A-Taps and fuses lying around so a no-brainer.

    Josey, thank ya...most appreciated.

Any improvement will be good....if i really needed searchlights in the rear I could suss out how to mount a full width light bar on the tailgate....so, I will be happy with "modest". I am still reeling in amazement at the screen on the Taco....I know guys have grumbled about the quality, but I am coming from a 2009 Highlander with a 2 inch screen, so I am pretty easy to please :D

Identifying spouses IS indeed important...something about life insurance premiums being paid up, which she reminded me about today as i was scrabbling around on a snowy roof taking down Christmas lights. :annoyed:

    Have a good one!
