I really need some help. I am looking to buy a nice custom console cover for my 2016 Taco. I have Coverking Wetsuit (Neoprene) covers I got from Costco which I live but I have had a really hard time finding a quality console cover. Suggestions?

Nice, that's the type of thing I'm looking for. While not neoprene it looks aeesome and its leather. Thank you!

    Wish there were more options.

Love it great to rest my arm on. IvI' had it about 5 years now and no signs of wearing. I clean it with leather cleaner and conditioner.

Listen to this guy. I ordered my cover before this comment and the leather is not padded on the regular cover. On my 2017 you remove the OEM cover and replace it with the leather. There is foam/plastic in the part you are covering and the grooves where they meet will show through the leather once glued down...I'll probably remove the cover and try to find thin foam to hide it. Also the grain of the leather doesn't match Katzkin if you have it.

I just ordered camo seat covers from Marathon, and the matching console cover was an option that I also got.

Your cover looks great. I got the three piece set as my present from the wife and kids. I installed the shift and brake boots easily enough. Much better than the stock vinyl.

I'm a bit anxious about installing the console cover with the extra padding. The original instructions don't talk about it much and I emailed them about instructions for the extra padding. They didn't offer much detail except to compress it while gluing.

Considering how good yours looks, could you please let me know your steps. I have two pieces of foam plus the cover. I can see using contact adhesive between the original top (vinyl removed) and the first foam layer and adhesive between the two foam layers. How much adhesive did you use between the top foam layer and cover? The whole thing or just around the edges?

If you did it just around the edges, is staying in place and work well over time?

    Thanks!

Boy it has been a long time. If I recall right I got the 1 inch thick padding, took the cover off and the under plastic piece apart. Never used adhisive. Next used a staple gun and pulled tight at the sides then stapled more once I felt it was tight enough. Replaced the plastic piece reinstalled and did not use the added washers or screws. Everything still looks and works great.

    Thanks!

I got two pieces of padding and no extra fasteners, but we are rocking different generations.

Are you talking about a typical carpentry stapler? I looked at Lowes for a packaging type stapler for the shift boot but just used adhesive successfully.

I'll take a look and see if I can just use staples also.

    Thanks again.
